In life, there are things we cannot control. Getting angry, bottling it up inside, or expressing it outwardly through actions that lead to conflicts and hurt each other is foolish. Nothing is ever perfect forever. Nor is anything ever against us forever. Our minds always crave perfection. In the midst of perfection, sometimes a tiny black dot appears. Instead of enjoying the things that are good and beautiful, we obsess over that one black dot. And we try every way to eliminate it, to destroy it. The world we live in is not perfect. We try to get rid of those black dots, but after a while, they reappear.
We are not politicians. We don’t hold power or influence. We don’t have the tools—the stick or the carrot. So, it’s better to let those black dots go. Sometimes, those black dots become obsessions. We try to forget them, but they linger in our minds. Let’s laugh at ourselves, at our true selves—a bunch of fools. Only a fool would let a single black dot ruin their life while living in a world full of colors and beautiful things. Let’s be cautious about what we take in every day. Don’t let our lives become too dark when, in reality, our lives are never truly that dark.
The things we cannot control in life—if they are positive, let’s embrace and enjoy the beautiful life that God has given us. Let’s not get attached or possessive about those things. Everything comes and goes naturally, quietly passing by. We are observers of the beauty and value of life that each person around us contributes to, making the world a better place. If those things are negative, let’s forget them. We know that fighting to eliminate negativity is foolish. Instead of getting angry, let’s realize that these are things we cannot control. Instead of trying to make fools understand who we are or making them pay for the harm they’ve caused us, we retaliate. And that retaliation proves that we are the fools. We bring unnecessary trouble upon ourselves, making our fate as dark as the bottom of a sooty pot. So, what should we be to let go of these obsessions? Let’s work on improving ourselves, becoming better each day. Gain more wealth, more strength, more energy. Let’s live more purely. And when we stand at the peak of glorious light, we will have power, and it will seem like no one can drag us down. No one can defeat us.
The things we can control—let’s master them. By accumulating wealth, strength, and energy, our influence grows day by day. Within our control, we create a small space. Though that space may be tiny, it is our home. It’s where we build and enjoy a happy, warm life.
Let’s never forget our own rules. Every time we forget or go against them, if we’re naturally happy and joyful, let’s update those rules. Revise them daily if we feel something doesn’t fit.
Sometimes, we unconsciously live without discipline. That lack of discipline will naturally bring us uncertainty, sometimes even life-threatening danger. And when we look back at what happened, oh my God, we’ve been foolish again. That’s something we should avoid.
